I am on my 3rd BMW and they are great. Though, I admit, the repairs can be costly on them. But they last a long time and are fun to drive. I have a 2003 with low 60K miles and it runs great and is good on gas.

I disagree with a few posters, BMWs are great cars. I had an '87 325e series BMW until recently and the only major thing we had to repair on it was the clutch.
