It seems to me that most of the cities listed were also on the high crimes list and the most depressing states list and other bad lists.  Why would I want to move somewhere I have no family, friends, don't know the area, etc. just to keep working after I "retire".  I can stay right where I am if I want to keep working.

Why would anyone in their right mind by food from Wal-Mart???  I rarely go there, but the one time I looked at the fruit, it was rotten and moldy.  There is no way I would ever buy meat there.  It's time Americans stopped going there completely.  Their prices are not cheaper than everywhere else.

I'm glad to find out people are finally wising up to Wal-Mart.  They advertise their prices are low, but you can do just as good if not better at other stores during sales.  Most of the clothes they sell are cheaply made.  I call it disposable clothing - wear it once or twice and throw it away.  I would never buy food ...more

I don't buy designer anything.  The outlet malls sell the "irregular" merchandise from the manufacturer.  There is something wrong with everything.  You may have to look hard to find it, but it's there.  That's not saying you shouldn't buy it, but don't expect a big bargain.

The problem with Red Lobster and Olive Garden is sinple ... bad management.  The service at these restaurants is terrible.  The food sometimes has to be sent back.  I don't see less people eating out, in fact I see more and it always amazes me that everyone is crying about the economy, but they still have money to take...more

So far, the comments have been from men.  If you really feel your wives/girlfriends would like cash, candy, flowers, etc., then you obviously have no intention of putting any thought into your gift and the worse thing is you don't care.   Let's hear from some women.  What do you think?

My husband gave me $500.00 in American express gift cards one year.  I was furious.  That's the same as cash.  He put no thought into the gift at all.   All he did was show me how much money he spent on me.  I would rather have a $10.00 book or pair of earrings.

I agree with all the comments I read.  All those chain restaurants are over-priced and the food isn't good.  I could never understand why any one would want to eat at Olive Garden.  I've been to several different ones (only because someone else insisted on it) and I didn't find the food any good at any of them.  I know...more
