it is definitely the food and the price that are the issue, not the image!  Food is mediocre at our hometown location and price is just too high for the quality.  Two people having a casual meal runs at least $50. Too much for casual dining.

I am a middle classer and a conservative Republican. Almost without exception, so are all my middle class friends. Most of the liberals I know earn much more than I do. This article is obviously biased.

Be careful buying at the dollar store as some have suggested.  I have found that some products there are made to be shipped to foreign countries and therefore do not alwasy adhere to US standards regarding safety and content.  Just be aware!

With the average home in my area going for $180,000, that would mean I would need (according to this article) a $36,000 down payment, $10,800 for closing and $45,000 in savings, or a total of $91,800. There are so many worthy causes to help those who are needy, but not everyones "need" is food or medical attention.
