Further I do agree with you Reagan that this problem is not just a Republican problem. Plenty of Democrats have sold out to the plutocrat agenda. However, the Republican party is completely the tool of the very rich and giant corporations.

Yes we have a progressive income tax rate but the rich can take advantage of tax loopholes, created for them by government policy and lobbied for extensuvely by the rich. The 1% that truly take advantage of these happen to control a very significant portion of the wealth in this country. They need to be taxed more. Als...more

SC is a "right to work" state. Right to work laws are when the rich get the government to intervene  in labor markets to make it next to impossible for workers to collectively bargain with corporations aka organized capital.

Sorry but the government props up the rich all the time despite the rich saying they are for free markets. They  rich get much favorable tax rates than the rest of us. How about when GE didn't pay any income taxes last year because they got to write off their losses. Why should we be subsidizing the losses of GE? What ...more

The folks on Wall Street who keep braying about free markets and how the rest of us shouldn't be helped by government are themselves bailed out by government when they massively screw up. It's time to end corporate welfare.
