Passing reference in 'Argo' rankles New...

Midwesterners in this country are pretty friendly (and educated) as well...I am wondering if you think every tv show and movie that has portrayed them all all simple farmers and uneducated hicks should be "corrected"?  i now live in New York, and TV and movies represent New York as a violent place with drug-crazed and ...more

Passing reference in 'Argo' rankles New...

Always good to see that we (the US) don't corner the market in rediculous things to be pissed about.  I have seen the movie twice.  If you had asked me if New Zealand was even mentioned in the film, I would have said NO.  That is how little of an impression that made.  And they are worried about how the "millions" will...more

American Apparel ads banned for being 's...

a) not everyone under 16 is already sexual.  b) ok, and if they are, it should be exploited by adults for profit?  How about letting them street walk as well?  If they are already doing it, and you are fine with people profiting, might as well have some fun, right?

pca911...there is a difference between the natural body and not being embarrased about it, and the body being used to sell.  If you cannot see that, then there is a problem.  The girl in that picture is selling (apparently) tights.  Why do her breasts need to be on display?  Oh that's right, because it sells...and what...more
