Except for the fact that she opened a package not addressed to her. Instead of doing the right thing by returning it to FedEx to begin with, she was hoping that she got some cool new stuff for free and decided to open the package.

These types of arguments that try to diminish an action just because there are other bigger problems to solve are trite.
