At Hooters, an employee knows what to expect when they fill out the application. No one becomes a flight attendant thinking they're going to be on display because management is going to begin requiring a revealing uniform.

I didn't do the dorm thing, so there was no moving back home. I lived with my parents while going to college full-time and working part time. It was cheaper, close to work and campus, they had a big house where I had plenty of space for myself, and I was so busy it wasn't like I had a social life anyway.  Then my dad p...more

I thought I made it clear that I was joking when I said "I jokingly told him"...  I'd told him in every other way that I wasn't interested, and that was the only one that seemed to work. Time passed though, and we both grew up - not just physically - and he turned out to be a really sweet guy.  I did, for the record, d...more

It's not that easy to just find a new job because they don't like the uniform. These women probably didn't choose this career thinking they'd be displaying themselves . If a woman wants to do that, that's fine, but exposing their bodies was not part of the job description in this case, and they shouldn't be forced to d...more

I'm a fairly tall woman at 5'9,, and my mom is a very petite 5'2. When I was a teenager, I loved making fun of her for being short and unable to reach anything in our kitchen cabinets. She could open the cabinet door and still walk under them. But it stopped being funny when I left one open, turned around and concussed...more

In high school, a guy a year behind me followed me around like the proverbial lost puppy. He was a tiny little guy, no more than shoulder high compared to me. He swore he loved me and asked me out at least twice a day. He was sweet, but I wasn't interested, so I jokingly told him I didn't date guys shorter than me, and...more

When a vehicle in front of me doesn't use a turn signal to move into a turning lane... but once in said turning lane, when they have no choice but to turn - THEN they put on the signal. Thanks, buddy.

Motivated couples have better sex lives

Why is everyone jumping to blame Momof2 and assuming she hasn't talked to him, doesn't tell him what she wants, etc? Ever think maybe it's not her fault, maybe her guy is just a dud? I'm sorry, but not every guy in the world is the king of the sack. Just because you talk and tell a man what you want, doesn't mean he's ...more

My mom and I attempted to make a Fruity Pebble marshmallow treat Christmas tree. The directions were very simple and straight-forward, and yet it turned out looking like a multicolored melted blob with frosting. Undaunted, we tried it again, and again... finally we gave up and displayed our sad little fruity forest on ...more
