No, he should not have been ticketed. Maybe if he was a 17-year-old, but even then it's iffy. This reminds me of the story last year of a kid that got a ticket for selling lemonade.

Yes, and the Latin word for "left hand" is "sinister".  The word "sinister" as we use it today comes from that.  And, goes along with RoastinginIllinois's ​ comment.

This was common a long time ago (say 100 years), but I really thought people stopped doing it in modern times.

IT's not "all presidents".  However, it is true that an unusual percentage of them were left-handed.
