It'll be interesting to see what happens.
Cars aren't the influence in young people's lives that they used to be, thanks to what one could call 'dilution', most from computers and other electronic technology.
I guess the up side is that you can drive a POS 'crate' and no one really notices or cares anymore, where...more
That's funny, Red-Phoenix. Good one!
Seriously, the difference between a bow of any type and a Ballista would be akin to the difference between any kind of a handgun and the 155mm artillery piece you mentioned in another post. Maybe 1% of the population out there would be able to identify a Ballista by name if they ...more
While I've never been able to identify with homosexuals of any type, I certainly do not mind them marrying each other.
This occurred to me at some point after realizing just how many cases I'd been made aware of through the years where people learned the hard way that they were married to one, an unpleasant surprise...more
Yes, it would, but if the person doing the search doesn't recognize a .22 pistol when they see one, a lot of good it'll do. Journalists know a little about a lot, and sometimes it's very little on any one subject. A GOOD journalist should know the basics about firearms as they factor into crime, culture, and conflict s...more

It should be pointed out that there is really only one probative thing the .22 and the .223 have in common: they're both used in a firearm that has a bore diameter of 0.22 inches.
Groove diameter is .001" larger for a .223, or any .22 centerfire cartridge for that matter, the notable exception being the .22 Winchest...more
If they don't have a picture of a .22, they can't post it. That was probably the 'stock' photo they had on hand, so it's what they ran with. Over half the people reading this wouldn't know what they were looking at without someone who did know telling them, anyway.
