I'm pissed off. It has been a week since msn has told me that Europe was the reason the market was up or down.  And it has been days since I read an article about the national conversation on gun control.  Could it be that the media are a bunch of smucks?

It's because the people who read are making comments on how stupid it is and how bias MSN is. Look at it today, while totally discounting yesterday, no budget reform anywhere, middle east about to go up in flames,etc.

Gasoline is a necessity, Big Macs are not.  With true wages going down people make decisions about paying other things first.  McDonalds is not a monopoly like gas is either.

Someone voiced their opinion that the German health care system was better than ours.  They have higher taxes and we protect them from the worlds bad guys.  If we didn't spend 30 percent of our wealth on military items such as Europe, Middleeast, Asia, protection, we could have even better health care.

Here is a simple answer, give every American a million dollars.  That is only 320 to 340 million.  They pay off their homes if they have a mortgage.  Then they pay off their credit cards.  If you don't you keep the money.  Debt gone, banks flush, less government debt.  It would save the tax payer and the government wou...more
