I defer a chunk of my income into a savings account EVERY pay day at a SEPARATE bank from where I have my checking account.  I started out last year at $25 per pay and now am at $250 per pay.  I have a very aggressive 5-year savings plan and if I don't make it, that's OK, but I know I will come very close.  Bottom line...more
