You are way off base on one: Marcus is a roughly 2500 year old Roman name, held proudly by emperors, philosophers, and other respected and intelligent people in history. Perhaps JaMarcus or DeMarcus are a bit much. Agree with you about the apostrophes in names. That is an abomination.
