Lynn, you are out of step. Please quit trying to spin this as some sort of accomplishment or success for this administration. Higher fuel equates to less money to spend, which is what we all need to help pull us out of this recession....yes recession, the economy still hasn't recovered.

The interesting thing in this is that it only took seven years for the market to match the numbers of the crash. Our high was in 2000 and we've yet to recover, despite two recessions.

The only way I would consider a Hybrid is if the manufacturers can have it make economic sense.
