Seems like the UN is trying to take over one more piece for the new world order.  Just read an article on Google that they are voting on a referendum to control the access and content of the web.  Google - (Warning:  The UN is coming for your internet.)  It just keeps on getting scarier.

This mandate was given by the Bush Congress.  The post office cannot do anything unless approved by Congress.  They have never been allowed to run as a business.  The post office is NOT funded by the government. As a retired postal/air force employee I would just like to say that I am thrilled with my $900 per month/no benefits retirement plan.  Pay part of my life insurance, could not afford the medical.  Had to wait 2-1/2 years for medicare before I had medical coverage.
