First-class battle over Saturday mail de...

Barry Soetoro: Please let me explain my grand retirement to you.  After 23 years with the Post Office and Air Force, I retired at 62 because I had severe arthritis in my knees and could no longer stand up all day.  I was such a lazy worker that I was still unloading trucks the day I retired.  Can't tell you how many...more

End of Saturday delivery could cost you

tb101961 - Boy do you have this wrong.  I had 23 years between the Air Force and USPS employment.  For that I get a whopping $872 per month and NO benefits.  I pay for a portion of my life insurance which I would not have been able to afford at my age of retirement (62).  I was a retail (window) clerk.  Worked in a gre...more

Seems like the UN is trying to take over one more piece for the new world order.  Just read an article on Google that they are voting on a referendum to control the access and content of the web.  Google - (Warning:  The UN is coming for your internet.)  It just keeps on getting scarier.

Their sole source of revenue is the fees they get from sales.  Were it not for the mandate they would be in ...more

Postal Service can't deliver payments

As a retired postal/air force employee I would just like to say that I am thrilled with my $900 per month/no benefits retirement plan.  Pay part of my life insurance, could not afford the medical.  Had to wait 2-1/2 years for medicare before I had medical coverage.

This is America.  What ever happened to free speech?  I am a devoted christian.  We are taught to love the person but not the sin.  We don't claim to be perfect, we do ask for forgiveness for our sins.  Why is it OK for homosexuals to force their way on us, but when we exercise our free speech and say their lifestyle i...more

To save the post office, send beer?

The USPS has plenty of money to be viable.  It is CONGRESS that forced them to fund health care for the next 75 years to the tune of 5 BILLION dollars a year that is crushing them.  Force UPS and FED EX to do that and see how viable they are.  Just for the record the USPS gets no taxpayer funds.  The retail funds they ...more
