Trash your own neighborhood, real smart.  This person was in a gang so let's not pretend he was a boyscout and didn't have a piece on him because his mama says so.  I'd say the same if the story was about a white boy who was in a bad gang.  One less cost for us for his prison in the future.

When you're considered a "Blood" you are not a KID any longer.  We just saved on his future prison cost to society.
