There is no way one can shop by price in the healthcare market except for insurance. If one has been seeing Dr. A for years, there is little likelihood he/she will be comparing prices when in need. There is absolutely no way to compare prices in an emergency.

Where are you getting all this increased regulation stuff. The only thing that has been re-regulated is part of the banking and insurance industry. As for medical - you may have a point, but it has been so out of control, something needs to be done.
Arizona is famous for blaming its woes on those who can't really pay their way. It's all those illegal workers who are causing the problem by working for less than minimum wage that are really maiking things hard in AZ.
