Even as a white guy, I am chilled by the poll showing only 50% of people recognizing this as racist, with the other half split between unsure and artistic statement. There is no way they are even trying for a sexual S&M play here, this is flat out racism.

What Monsanto is doing IS good for the planet as a whole...for now - malnutrition is helped by improving crop yields. The question is what will happen in the long run, when the bugs get smarter and when the problems of overpopulation, obesity, and many other sci-fi predictable outcomes come to pass.
If you take out the men and women who die of stroke and heart attack, the death from other causes is essentially the same...so, the reason why women don't seem to get heart disease when they are younger is where the real money is at.
