Hairballs (actually FURballs) are caused by a cat's grooming themselves, not junk off the floor. Frequent brushing and even petting helps, but in this case it's tuff to do. As far as caging these guys I agree, unless it's a rescue situation of some sort.

don't know if it improved my memory or not but I have been on B12 AND folic acid for some time (to counteract effects of some other meds I am on).
