If you wait til they are teenagers to teach them, you'll be too late.  This starts much, much younger than their teen years.  Which again is why it should be taught in school.  There is nothing suggesting that it should be an "either" "or" scenario.   Teach them at home, and at school both.  It's not like we have to...more

School withholds valedictorian's diploma...

No she wasn't "AWARDED" a damn thing.  She "EARNED"  the  valedictorian honer which "Earned" her the right to speak at HER graduation.  It was HER work that got her  valedictorian, they didn't AWARD that to her either.  Get over yourself and your high and mighty attitude, and realize she put in the work, and "EARNED" h...more
