It is a shame how Americans characterize each other and the disdain fellow Americans have for each other.  I am not talking about the article but the comments here.  That's too bad.

I think he is hoping other authors follow suit.  He isn't trying to get rid of e-books as you suggest, e-books are here to stay. I think he wants to make sure real books are also here to stay.

Watching the show American Greed and I realize most of the people who get swindled or feel as though they did, were greedy themselves and tried to get outrageous profits on their money.  If someone tells you 30% a year on your money is what they can do and they run off with your money, boohoo to you.
