We actually just saw the statue yesterday. Marilyn was wearing white briefs. it's a statue and she built her career on being a sex symbol, not a saint.

I agree that new vehicles have many safety features to protect the passengers, but I also believe that this is not a fair comparison. A vehicle from the late 60's or early 70's built after vehicles were beginning to be designed with safety in mind, would have faired much better than the test chevy with X frame design.
