the last figures I have read , supposedly based on the last census , say that 50% of the people in this country make 32000 a year or less.  the media likes to report the median income which is something like 57000 a year. You can live on 32000 a year but you won't be buying much of the so called american dream.

if you want to stop illeal immigration  you need to start putting the people who hire them in jail. Nothing else will work

as I recall ,one of the reasons for social security was to get old people out of the work force so that young people could get jobs
