We also have wheat farmers in our area that are paid by the Federal Government  not to grow to keep the price of grain up. The local joke is that we have more wheat farmer millionaires that don't actually grow anything than any farmer of any other crop who does grow.

Yeah cause Okies and Arkies never worked agriculture once upon a time. Guess that was about 20 years before your time.
