I can "depreciate" your comment on buying new cars. However, buying a new car doesn't always make the most financial sense. Buying a slightly used car with a warranty is usually the best way to go- good job or not. Of course, someone has to buy the new car first so someone else can get the good deal later.
While I will agree with the haggle part it's the "why pay for diagnostic fees" argument I take exception with. Would we argue with our doctors and dentists over x-rays or visits to tell us what's wrong with our bodies? Perhaps visiting the doctor should be free and we should only pay for the repair (medication/surgery)...more
