I have lived and mostly raised a family at and below the federal poverty level.
I now live well and substantially above it...and above 68k.

1. A 401K is an investment. If you are not tracking your investment, it is your fault if it looses money due to non-payment of matching funds or non-deposit of your own.

Many firms follow an earn as you go system. this type of system includes monies being banked to cover the cost of the EARNED time off.
If the time is not used, the set aside monies show as capital or EBITDA dollars that the company must pay taxes on.

At my firm, we have set vacation days coinciding with holidays and all other time off is earned as personal. We have no difference between sick, vacation, or F you days.
I use them however I want, and very rarely.
I have the most banked time in the firm.
This story started in California. Concealed carry is not allowed by average citizens. It must be open, permitted( the weapon as well as the "priviledge" to carry), and unloaded.
