Hey, if it makes you happy, go for it.  For me, personally, it is a huge turn off to see a woman all inked up.  But obviously your husband is fine with it, so who cares what I think!

I hate to see tattoos on women.  The piercings are even worse.  These things just don't seem feminine to me.
