Thanks for the post. I'd agree that the first thing to do is nothing. By sitting back and assessing your situation you can get a better grasp of what is really needed and make a much wiser decision.
Thanks for the post. This is really what budgeting is about. It gives you the freedom to spend the money set aside and not have to worry where it is going to come from. I also love your point about opportunity cost, it's a thing we too often don't think about.
Great point! It's not about cheap living, but frugal. Frugality allows you to make wise choices with your money which in the long run allows your make to work better for you as opposed to just "pinching pennies".

That 's going to look a little different for everyone, but the underlying premise is the same...making wise choices. I love being able to have little debt (other than a mortgage) and being able to use those funds...more
