I'm so sick of hearing about bullying... it's part of growing up. Kids tease each other, and get teased. It's how we learn to grow thick skin and gain emotional fortitude as adults. The problem is the self-esteem movement which has left our kids a bunch of fragile emotional weaklings. Everyone gets a trophy, right?

Generally, if someone tells you they're making "six figures", they're making in the low 100s. People who make more than that usually just say their salary.

Chemistry here. After a decade working from the $11/hr bottom to the $22/hr "top", I got my real estate brokers license and eventually quit Chemisty all together. I now make more money in one deal than I did in three months at my old job.
