Say what you will, but I think RB handled himself quite well - and yes, calling someone a liar vs. telling someone they may not be telling the truth is virtually the same (e.g. "You're not honest" ergo "You're dishonest").  Anyway, I grew up with The Young Rascals" - 'loved 'em!
