Having Brown there might have been in poor taste, and I am not defending Brown... but what ever happened to the second chances that celebrities are always saying / demanding we owe them when they do something bad? I guess they don't apply that rule to themselves.
Madonna's lip syncing was always excused because it was too hard for her to sing while performing the demanding gyrations of her stage show. So, what's her excuse now? That she's 53? OK, that explains the toned down "moves" such as they were, but if that's the case, why couldn't she sing live?
They didn't know? Right. If it draws ratings, they like it - so they choose not to "know". If the NFL and the networks don't want these moments, they should put a clause in the performers' contracts, saying the performer is responsible for any FCC fine that results out of their behavior.
First, the commissions on a house are paid out of the proceeds of the sale, not out of the buyers pocket. Second, whatever the commission is, it is split between the buyers agency and the sellers agency (I say agency because the agent's broker's get a cut). Third, I've had both good and bad agents on both sides of re...more
An open letter to people like Randeep Dhillon: You love America and all the freedoms she gives you... but when one of those freedoms, freedom of speech, is used against you - even in a lighthearted, joking way - you get your panties in a bunch. Basically, you want the freedoms offered by this country to apply only w...more
I have to say, nice job by EVH - especially since I've really had him on the bad guy list ever since his fallout with Sammy, and especially since he unceremoniously booted Michael Anthony to the curb.
It would be cool if they would bring Anthony back, and then tour with both Roth and Hagar - but I think the ego ove...more
As we were re taught by our parents, swearing ain't great, but if you're going to swear, there's a time and a place where it's OK, and a time and a place where it's not. How I say something to my teammates on a baseball diamond is not the same way I'd say it at a family gathering with little kids or someone's grandpar...more
It's not just Best Buy. Ever get ignored at a McDonald's because the counter staff is discussing the latest Twilight movie and acn't be bothered to acknowledge your existence? Or tried to find knowledgeable help at a Lowes or a Home Depot? Customer Service is a dying art... and no, up-selling or cross-selling is NOT...more
First off, I am not a fan of BofA's customer service, and think many of their fees are unreasonably high.
Having said that, though, I'll go on to say this: Quityerbitchin', people. All I hear from BofA haters is "wah, wah, wah, I got screwed by a bad mortgage." Really? People willingly signed up for adjustabl...more
