I can guess what the city is thinking. The guy cleans up the lot and puts a bench on it.  A pedestrian (or a customer) trips while walking up to the bench and sues the city for millions.  Yes, it shouldn't be that way but really can't blame the city for people who sue at the drop of the hat.   Its just too bad.

Hey Chuck.  The problem with your reasoning is when you lose on a stock it doesn't effect the rest of us.  When you run away from mortgage guess who ends up paying higher interest rates.  Sorry you are having problems but noone forced you to sign the loan documents.

I have been a B of A customer for many years and have had my share of problems with them but going with a smaller local bank or credit union presents its own problems - lack of ATM coverage, no or few branches, etc.  I travel quite a bit and readily need access to an ATM to get cash and other activities.
