Truthfully I think it was a mistake when they started putting singing stars on as judges, it was better when they had producers, whose job is to create new stars. I realize Paula was a singing star, but she was exceptional.
Wow. With the exception of The Big Bang Theory, I don't watch any of those shows regularly. Though I can say I have seen a few Mad Men episodes and found them compelling.
It's the income taxes of actually winning the home that is killing them, essentially they were given the value of the home. But you are right they will have to pay real estate taxes as well, so it does not work if the home is out of the price range of the winner.
