Here is my suggestion, there should be policy created (sorry I know people don't like it but hear me out) that requires any analyst or commentator or thier affiliates not to purchase stock they are bearish on or not to sell stock they a bullish on, meaning they are going to report a recommendation that is favorable or...more
I totally disagree with this article. For the person who just throws thier money into a random mutual fund or random stock on a whim or on somone else's recommendation absolutly. However if someone does the proper planning and research and learns about the market and conditions. This is incorrect.
I have a crazy idea. I think, eveyone is nuts. Would this not cause a selloff creating a self fufilled prophecy? This guy will come up looking like a genius when it's really his mouth.
The big thing about these programs are, as Liz pointed out, the quick change interest rates. These banks will change them without notice. As ours went down I have been moving more of our money in blue chips, bonds and TIPS.
