How can you draw any correlation with two data points (1933 and 1997)?  Most of these political statistics have very little real data to go on, since our current two party system is still so young.  I personally would want to see strong supporting data before I risked my capitol on politically motivated stocks.

This could also shock the sh$% out of you or make your battery explode if you or the hanger are touching the car or if you don't tie them together tightly, not a great idea, but if your stranded and it was still 1976 (metal bumpers?) it would work. It's only about 14 volts but jumpers are insulated for a reason!
