If they want to improve the economy they have to money in the hands of the consumer. If they did, people would buy cars, homes, take vacations Etc, and the tax money associated with these things would go right back into the economy.

I can see the market has broken it's loosing streak, it's only down 160 points today. I don't know what market the analyst are looking at, but it looks like to me the market is worse than it was yesterday?
When a Bank forecloses on a family, from that point on, the Tax assessors office should be sending the property Tax bill to the Bank, with no exceptions until the dwelling is re-sold. Maybe then they would be more willing to work out way's to keep people in there homes.
