Just another glowing example of the waste and abuse our federal dollars (actual and borrowed) pay for.  The White House is closed for tours to the American people during sequestration but the VP can tour Europe.  One more knife in the ribs of the citizenry.  Expect it to get worse before it gets better.

Simple solution:  the entire planet operates on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).  We don't have time zones, we don't have daylight savings time.  It's really not that complicated!
