@ francis....sorry to tell you this, but restaurants by rule pay servers LESS then half minimum wage, which in most cases is $2.15 to 2.85. And the feds tax servers 15% of the total ticket reciepts. They figure people who eat in casual,dine-in or family settings would pay at least 15%.

I agree, waaay too early. I can remember when it was a family tradition to put up the tree after we digested the Thanksgiving meal. At least it was like in MY neighborhood. Last week some stores had multiple decorations up across the stores, Halloween/Thankgivin ​ g/Christmas, all at once.

Please ignore troll. I commend you for giving tips of the trade to folks who SHOULD heed them. I have worked in the service industry, but  was paid a good salary (Management). Serving is a very difficult career, and not everyone is cut out for it. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Now that's the way you handle bad service. I wish more people would read your comment. I like the saying "I am a good customer. If things are bad I don't complain, I just don't go back". If more people took that position we would have a lot less crappy service.
