We have to adjust executive pay.  Cutting production, cuts product, cuts gross sales = net loss.      To remain competitive 15-25% has to get cut from up top.  There is no other area to make budget cuts.  Don't invest long term, in corporations that give all the profit away to their frat buddies.

I forgot to add that I analyze my purchases and estimate that paying more for some products, sometimes is an effective use of my resources.  My time is valuable and it is worth it to get it right the first time.
