pocketprotector, Wrong. The Federal Deficit exceeded 1.4 Trillion once. That was Fiscal Year 2009 which was George W Bush last Fiscal Year.  That Fiscal Year started October 2008 before President Obama was even elected.  Every year since the deficit has dropped and faster than any other time in history.

Notice how that when Austerity hit people that fly a great deal Congress acted very quickly to stop that pain.

When something effects the wealthier people of this country it gets fixed.  Notice other programs that have also been hit hard by sequester like Cancer patients. They arent getting any more flexibility.

Umm this is being fixed by congress because congress is getting the heat.  The fact of the matter is after a week of the GOP complaining that the FAA has flexibility (when it doesnt) congress is granting the FAA flexibility (That the Executive branch has said all along that it does not have).
