why do laws oppress the innocent and why aren't all citizens special?

Credit to her daughter that didn't join mom in this travesty.  If going into a noisy area voluntarily, it becomes your responsibility to protect your hearing or not. If it really is that hazardous and she didn't check into it then she is reckless for exposing her daughter to it as well.
