Way worse than that has happened to me. I lost everything my husband and I ever worked for. He has a progressive brain disease and has been hospitalized now 55 times in five years. I know what loss is and I also know what bitterness is. Just because life has gotten hard for me does not make me wish hard times on others...more

I think it is great for people to have beautiful lives. I believe that they have worked hard and planned to get into those positions. Look at WrightNightMare on Utube. Severe illness hurts everyone. There are many new faces to food banks including us. They are not people who don't work hard in life or never have; They are good, honest, hard working, sometimes extremely ill individuals that just can not make it because of circumstance.

Getting back to basics and enjoying family dinners, children with no cell phones, outdoor sports, and home made fun isn't a bad idea. It sounds like my childhood which I would love to repeat...lol  Wouldn't you?
