Nimh is the way to go, don't skimp on a cheap charger though....They charge to fast and burn the batteries out wayyyy to fast with crude charging technology. Get a good charger like the Maha one that for example charges each battery on one circuit and can do a 100 minute charge or a much better more complete 5 hour cha...more
