I stayed home with my children.  I understand that there are circumstances that require both parents to work, however my husband and I agreed it was best for the children to have a parent home with them .  It was hard and we sacrificed a lot to be able to afford it but it was definitely worth it.  My children are grown...more

We made the sacrifice and homeschooled our children.  We couldn't afford private school and the public school in the area we lived was unacceptable.  We made sure our children were socialized properly and participated in many clubs and activities.  Making sure they received a good education was scary and hard work but ...more
