For everyone else.....The Akita does not accept bribes to allow you to harm his family....A friendly cookie will not do it, I promise you that. Lastly, I will likely never own another breed of dog for home protection, If I did it would be the German shephard if anything , because intelligent dogs make the most intellig...more

This is for BLUEEYES 54.....An Akita does not work like the dog you are speaking of. The Akita can know a neighbor and still know that he does not belong in the home, they are that intelligent...They are excellent at judging human emotion, so they will sense if you are up to no good almost immediately.
