I know many who are unemployed that hold a degree. Those with practical life skills - carpenters, electricians, plumbers, skilled odd-jobbers - will always find a way to earn money. They may not end up wealthy, but they'll be the survivors even in a poor economy.

More Americans than ever using food stam...

Who the heck is buying those four buck boxes of cereal and $10.98 containers of nuts (and these aren't even the "expensive" items)? - The people on food stamps. They're about the only ones that can afford it. With the high prices, they're pushing more people to SNAP.

Sounds like a worthwhile program. How many companion animals get dumped when folks can no longer afford to fed them? The cost of dog food has doubled in the past ten years. This looks like another version of hoarding. Some just have too much money, and too much time. Pathetic that both money and time can't be put to something more useful, less egotistical and not wasteful.

I step up on beta glucans and colloidal silver during flu season or if just under stress. There are plenty of natural immune system boosters out there. I wouldn't take a flu shot.
