I have never paid an ounce of interest on a car. If you shop smart, you can always find 0% interest promotions. Also, there was another time where I took a 5% interest rate on a car because I took a $2000 incentive. I did this because I paid the car off in 1 year, so came out way on top with the incentive cash. Based o...more

That isn't completely true. The credit agencies add up all your credit limits and use that for utilization. I have 3 credit cards, but only use one of them (one was for Best Buy that I payed off after buying appliances and the other was to get 0% interest, so I could pay off wedding rings over a year span). I now only ...more

While I do agree with you that banks are making loads of cash off of us, I do like rewards credit cards. I probably charge $1000 a month on a rewards card, but I pay off the entire balance except for maybe $50 before the closing date. I then pay it immediately after the closing date to avoid interest payments (just to ...more

I think you are a bit confused. While 30% is a good goal to shoot for, you will get your best score by keeping your utilization under 10%. I charge a lot on my credit card, but always pay it off before the monthly closing date, so that I never close with more than a 10% utilization rate. My score is very good for doing...more

Regal Cinema sees backlash over Obamacar...

Get rid of regulations and Regal would gladly pay their employees $1/hour. It is a truly awful company.

It already is extinct in the service industry. It has been for a long time. Where have you been?

Regal Cinema sees backlash over Obamacar...

This proposition by Regal isn't anything new. They already don't give enough hours. There might only be a few workers who are hurt by this. They will probably just get another job 10-15 hours somewhere else to compensate. It seems like a lot of businesses are going to be hiring people for that many hours once Obamacare...more

Regal Cinema sees backlash over Obamacar...

I used to manage at Regal. This isn't really news. They have always treated their employees horrible (why I don't go to movies there anymore). They already give their employees very low hours, so nothing new here. They'd cut hours early every night. Most workers only get 10-15 hours a week unless it's the summer season...more

Retirement crisis ahead for boomers and...

I hate how many kids people are having. My sister-in-law already is getting ready to have her 3rd and she's only 25 on a less than $20/hour budget in subsidized housing. She then vents constantly to my wife about how they are doomed financially. When she does get an opportunity to save (gets a huge tax return), the mon...more
