To be clear, "razor thin" margins are the reason these stores are having problems....not "show rooming". BB would be better served teaching the assocoates who a "real customer" is. Sadly...DD2 broke the bad news to me...no more "back to school shopping" for me. She is a college gal now and well...my services are no longer required. So for the first time in 25 years I'll be a spectator during "back to school" season...

My folks have done just as you "laid out"...however they lived longer than they expected...have no money...no credit,,,an upside down reverse mortgage...and as a result are terribly bitter. In addition they have no problem leaving a terrible mess for the children to deal with. Not my idea of being a good parent....

Crazy as it sounds...I agree with Cramer. This CEO is KILLING the company. Just take a look in the market for their products....their price points are WAY out of line. Good article and very true....Just yesterday...Father's ​ Day ...treated DD2 to a treat at Dairy Queen. True I had a buy one get one coupon...but this did not diminish the great time I had by having a "special time" with one of my favorite people. Came to just under $5 for both of us...worth every penny!!!
