I smell an inside job.  I'd run background checks on the hotel employees, stat.

I had almost my whole apt in storage for a few months when I was between jobs and staying with my parents. Some creep cut the lock off the unit (and three others in the row) and stole a tub of DVDs and, of all weird things, my mini charcoal grill.  The break in was reported, but the theft wasn't -- I didn't realize any...more

You're assuming they actually incubated the eggs themselves.  Every modern reptile I know of buries its eggs in soil/plant litter, and the eggs are kept warm by the sun and/or the heat created by the decaying compost.  Not to mention that most dinosaurs were human-size or larger, and they would have crushed their eggs ...more

Coyotes are very smart.  I'm pretty sure Mama understood that the humans were helping, or, at least, knew she herself couldn't help her pup and was willing to wait and see what the humans did.

Still,  it's easier to adapt to being short.   A step stool, high heels, and a sewing machine solve most problems.  And I can't count the times I've had to help out my 6'2'' father with odd jobs because he couldn't fit himself or his big hands into some tight space!
