Not true! Do some research for yourself, President Obama is one of the most frugal presidents, if not the most frugal, in half a century.

It is the cost of health care that hurt seniors the most and as trend over the years the cost of heath care has been rising at a rate twice that of the CPI. The cost of living adjustments don't keep up with the increases in health care cost as it is, under the proposed "chained CPI" it will be even worse.
