I bought a used Buick Century 2005 with 28000 miles on it for 9000.  Its got 120,000 miles on it and get 30mpg highway with the air on.  I drive 60 miles per hour on the highway.  New Camary is 35000 and gets over 40mpg.  I am running the Buick as long as it will go.

Actuaries calculate risk of dying.  You get the same money if you retire at age 62 or later.  The reason.  You draw a lesser check longer if you retire early.   You get a bigger check for a shorter time(you will die sooner) if you retire later.
